Les Blasons des Papins - Coat of Arms of the House of Papin

Origins of Family 



The family traces its origins to Bretagne (Presqu’île de Guérande) where they were known as the Papin de Quilfistre. The Papins were close to the Emperor Charlemagne (768, date of reign).

However, the family PAPIN also lived in the following cities in France: Anjou, Orleans, and Picardie. Through marriage they took on the following names:
